I am a self-taught artist and woodworker. In 2001, I was diagnosed with lymphoma. I retired early for this reason and now can devote full time to my art, whether it takes the form of canvas art or woodwork. I have been blessed by surviving cancer, and I love creating beautiful art objects in my woodshop as well as on canvas. I hold a batchelor of science degree from Georgia State University, and survived not only cancer, but also the corporate world. Now I am truly in my world: a world of expression, that I cherish, and take very seriously.
Inspiration:
I am inspired by all the things around me, that can become a part of my art. I am inspired by other artists, and their beautiful work. There are many on this site. I am inspired by each new day that I have been given, to create my work. I am inspired by my family, who wants me to create, and enjoy. I am inspired by all of God's creation, and awed by His majestic sunsets. I am inspired by my friends, who lovingly encourage me in all my art endeavors.
